Great looking car in silver
Thanks, more official pics to come.

I'm using 2 layers of Blackfire Wet Diamond paint sealant with 8hr flashing in between and a coat of Blackfire Midnight Sun carnauba wax. Great quality and ease of application.

I haven't stopped by the shop recently, but I have the same springs for my xi which Darren will be installing in the spring. Can't wait to see pics!

My favorite color combo....classic German. Will look great when you slip those springs in there. I'd lose the M Perf sticker on the skirts though.

Can't.....its one of the easiest ways to tell if its an original limited edition vehicle.

If the side blades and vinyl sticker are ordered and installed from dealer, the m performance stickers come separately.

On the M Performance Edition, its embedded with some satin protectant sheet on top.

This is a very nice vehicle, Congrats!

I love these wheels may buy a set and put them on my 435 in the spring. Dealer wants $6000 for the wheel and tire package so hopefully there is a sale or some kind of deal with my CA.

Hey. How did you get the weather to display on your right screen panel. Actually, how did you get the weather to display at all? I know it can do it, but I have yet to figure out how. Got the real time traffic mastered though already.

When you push right on the iDrive, you can select what you see in the splitscreen eg. Nav, or media info. The clock and/or weather is under the bmw widgets.

Btw, although my sales rep states that 18" winter wheels will fit over our 370mm rotors and calipers, I decided to test fit different wheels before I order something. After testing two different 18" oem wheels, I've found that the clearance is less than the thickness of a balance weight between the inside rim and the caliper...... not the best idea in my opinion.

Uh oh. I ordered a square set of 400M 18 oem wheels and 225/45R/18 95V perelli sottozero 240 series 2 RFT. They will put them on Monday and they said they would be no problem. Was this one of the sets you tested ? I hope they didn't lead me astray. What are you going with for winter? You saying you need to go with 19s?

I seriously hope not. The price on a set of 19" plus good winter tires is horrible.....that and i wanted a staggered setup.

Can you post pics of the calliper clearance when you get yours installed on Monday? Much appreciated.

Sure. Will do. What oem 18s did you look at? Obviously the turbines but what was the other set?

It wasn't I. Unfortunately, there is one coming in soon, but they want too much to trade mine in for the VO. I will have to suffer with Black Sapphire Metallic MPE. I mean things could be worse in my life.

I can't wait to his 2,000 km so I can really test out the power of my unit! Still only have about 1k on it and the winters go on on Monday. I better get lots of driving in this weekend!

I really like the way the front splitter is painted, i.e. the bottom part left unpainted. It accentuates the air intake nicely.

For winter wheels, I just got a set of 18" wheels and I agree the clearance is very tight. Luckily my wheels have no issue clearing my M-Sport brakes (which should be the same size as the M Performace brakes). My wheels are aftermarket, not OEM btw.

Thank you Syscrusher. Do you know how much space you have between the calliper and the inner barrel?

I had a look. It is not really a lot, but it seems to be enough. What is an acceptable amount? It freeeeezing outside. I can measure it later. It's really tough to get something in there to measure it. I was thinking to maybe use a deck of playing cards.
