328i Luxury Line to M Sport Conversion done!

Hey guys,

I picked up my car about 5 months ago. I've been posting photos on and off over the months on a few threads but figured a new thread was warranted.

I picked up a CPO 2013 luxury line 328 X-Drive through BMW Toronto back in March. I went luxury over the other lines because this particular one was priced under $30k cdn and only had 18k km's. They through in tints and the car honestly looked brand new. Thought I would be content with M licence plate covers as it was my first BMW but boy was I wrong. 24 hours later the shopping started.

Started out with throwing some cf parts here and there...cf mirror cover, mp trunk lip....new rims but wasn't satisfied. Having read through this forum a few weeks I was convinced I had to have an M. So I started throwing in oem M interior bits...shifter, footrest, door sills. But at this state it was a mash up of random crap and it wasn't feeling cohesive so I forked out the money to go full M Performance body kit.

Please refer to the photos below for what it looks like today...certainly at a state where I feel more content. Note I did have an MP front lip for a few months but felt it looks a tad bulky in its unpainted state so I opted for the cf lip.

Happy to answer any questions, a lot of guys talk about trying aftermarket body panels and talk around concerns re. fitment. I've had a very good experience myself. Bumpers, sides skirts and rear bumper are all Taiwan made and fit extremely well. I did however go oem for the front grills (all of them) and oem mp side skirt decals as the aftermarket stuff was wonky.

Specs include:
-2013 328i X-Drive

Exterior...
-F80 M Performance dual slat grills (satin to match mp side skirt decals and window trim)
-M Sport body kit (front, rear bumper + side skirts - OEM bits throughout)
-M Performance aero package (side extensions and defuser)
-M Performance side skirt decals (oem)
-M Performance fender badges (oem)
-400m style M Sport rims (oem)
-CF front lip (AP style)
-CF mirror covers
-CF roof lip
-CF trunk lip (F80 style)
-3m vinyl wrapped the chrome window trim to satin black

Interior...
-Avin 10.25 Android touch screen solution
-M Sport foot rest
-M Sport shifter
-M Sport door sills
-M Sport steering wheel trim
-CF interior trim kit (real carbon fiber)

Performance...
-M Performance exhaust (oem obviously)
-Injen intake
-JB+

Future plans...
-Dinan lowering springs with bump stop
-437m style rims with spacers
-M Sport steering wheel
-M Sport bbk upgrade
-LCI tail lights (blackline would be cool)
*And a few other performance bits...

Hey man, the Taiwan made bumpers are not unlike what folks are buying through eBay or Selma. I got mine locally though a performance shop I wouldn't recommend...but do some reading on the Selma M Sport kit threads. There's tons of them.

I certainly could have but it would have cost me easily $15k-$20k cdn more and would have had triple the mileage. M Sport 328's in March were also incredibly hard to find in Toronto

To be honest as I mentioned in my initial post, I didn't buy the car with the intentions of doing all this work. It just happened and has been fun!

Absolutely love it! I see you have the cf interior and F80 steering wheel trim.

What kit did you use for the interior cf trim?

i skinned all the CF interior myself with rear CF and F80 steering wheel trim as well as well all 4 interior door interior handles
