Driving Modes?
So I'm a bit confused on the difference between the driving modes with and with out the track handling package.. It looks to me that all cars come with Driving Dynamics Control with ECO PRO, COMFORT, and SPORT settings. I know the track handling package (which I have ordered on my 320i) includes the Adaptive m suspension and from what I've read it allows you to switch between Comfort/sport and adds dampers.. but isn't that standard besides the dampers? What exactly does the Adaptive suspension include if I can already switch between the modes without having the track handling package..

The track package includes the adaptive dampers. I do not know about the 320; but with the 340 you can get the M sport package which includes the stiffer suspension and then you can add adaptive Suspension on top of that and not have to get the track pack

I believe those modes control at least 4 things.(Probably more that I have not noticed)
- Steering weight - Shift points and shift speed - Accelerator responsiveness - Suspension(If you have adaptive suspension) VSS as I understand it controls the ratio of the steering. |
