Correlation between loving and hating F30

I've noticed that a lot of us that like the design of the F30 appear to own an E82 and a lot that don't like it appear to own an E92. There are clearly those on each side with other cars, but I find it interesting that a large percentage seem to fall into these two camps of coupe owners.

But it's interesting as there appears to be some success in BMW's part of "moving" us 1er folks up market and I've also heard more than one E92 person voice interest in moving to the F10 since they don't like the F30. I don't necessarily buy into the marketing side of this and chose an E82 over an E92 regardless of price, but it's just an interesting early observation.

I love the looks of the new car, I'm just concerned about some of it's features like autostart stop

I believe autostart stop can be deactivated using the button next to the engine start.

Don't think so. Its on most new cars.
I drive e92 and don't like the new sedan at all. I would never drive the old one either. The new 4 (?) looks nice from what we have seen...imo.

whether you love or hate the old model will look old if that makes sense. 3 series always look good and this F30 is no exception.

It can but I heard it would have to be turned off every time you start the car. I don't think it will hold the setting.

I was going to order an F10 M5, but decided to hold off until I saw the new F30 in person. If I like it, I will probably wait to grab the new M. I really like the F10, so I will be torn on which to get if I like the F30 as much in person.

I own both of my current BMW's, so I won't be selling either to get whichever I choose. However, depending on how good/not so good the next BMW I get is/isn't may change my mind on whether I get rid of one of my current BMW's.

The only thing that irks me about the F30 at the moment is, the wait for the LCI update. I still think is absolutely ridiculous that after all of these years with LCI updates that BMW won't just release the car with the LED lights, etc... to begin with.

Oh well. Decisions. Lol
