Hi guys

I went to 1 dealership and test drove a 2013 328i xdrive
Only option that i picked/like was the heads up display

The MSRP without any negotiation is 58,957 with tax, out the door

I haggle the price down to 55,000 (tax in, out the door) is this a good deal?

btw, i'm buying the car outright.

Thanks

*edit for year change*

THERE IS APPROXIMATELY 10% MARGIN IN THE CAR TO DEALER COST. dEALERS NO VERY WELL TODAY, THAT THE PROFIT IS IN THE SERVICE NOT IN THE SELLING/LEASING OF CARS. YOU STILL HAVE ROOM TO NEGOTIATE MORE. i RECOMEND YOU VISIT ANOTHER DEALERSHIP AND SEE WHICH ONE IS MORE AGGRESSIVE TO GET YOUR BUSINESS

PM me when you can. I would suggest checking with BMW of Mississauga. I'll pass you his contact details once I get your message.

Does anyone know if the $1500 incentive that is available on the 2012 328i also applies to the xDrives?

Actually, that's a pretty good # (OTR).

If you want to squeeze more, negotiate extended warranty @ 1/2 the selling price (if you are keeping the car beyond 4 yrs)

The goal of incentives if to move out the 2012 to make room for 2013, so I don't think so

You're right - no incentives on 2013's, CarCostCanada has now been updated with 2013 pricing.

I just received a phone call from BMW Canada last week and I believe there currently is a $1,000 incentive for all 3 series (including 2013 models) for current owners of BMW's......

Thank you - nobody told me about that one... except for one dealer.

You should also ask about the following if you qualify:

Do you have a car allowance with your job and do at least 6 employees at your company have a car allowance? If so, you can get another $750 off.

Watch out for the other fees. Most dealers charge an administration fee. I have seen $399. I got my 2013 335 m sport with an administration fee of $145.

The $1,000 off for loyalty applies to all repeat BMW buyers - cash buyers as well.

Nice! Do you have any details on the car allowance rebate? What kind of documentation is required to obtain this?

I thought the admin and other fees imposed by the dealers are not negotiable. I recently went to BMW toronto and the followings were the extra fees imposed:

freight 900
admin 399
pdi 1295
tire tax 23.36
aircon tax 100
omvic fee 5
locking wheel bolts 0
mats 0
fuel 0
TOTAL 2722.36

Which dealer did you go to?

So, I guess a discount of 6.7% on 2013 328 xdrive is the maximum that people on this forum is getting. Anyone getting more discount in Toronto

There is a form that your dealer will be able to get from BMW Canada for the car allowance rebate that you will need to take to your company's HR department to get signed verifying that there are employees at your company with car allowances. It is a "corporate fleet number application" form and they tick off the box for "executive car alloawance number". No one else in your company has to have a BMW - they just have to have car allowances regardless of the kinds of cars they have. They will also want a copy of your pay stub that shows you do have a car allowance as part of your compensation. Give all of this to your dealer and then BMW Canada will be able to apply the additional rebate to your purchase or lease agreement.

the admin fees are negotiable. A friend of mine who used to own a car dealership tells me that he never agrees to pay an admin fee.
