There's not much snow in Toronto so the X Drive with good all season tires, should be enough!

Well, all points taken, but I've spent quite a bit of time in both RDW and xDrive 3s and I prefer the way xDrive's run. I like the xDrives' acceleration and handling in all weather, and in the half-dozen times or so a year driving an hour+ in snow/sleet/slick I've greatly noticed the difference with their RWD cars.

It's not about who's right or wrong with stuff like this, it's a matter of preference, IMO.

Am I reading this correctly? I thought the trim was going to be blue, not red.

Just for ppl who want 320d. This engine is great on paper, but in real life it has early problems with its chain, and this cannot be fixed quickly, as chain is in the back of the engine.

it has to be higher - the engine needs to be raised to make room for axles and diffs... at least i think thats how it works.

I am not sure but I hope so. I think BMW has closely evaluated the diesel options and sell rate of cars they have offered in the US. I think it is why the new F30 was not offered with the 335d to start with even though the N57 was already federalized. And they have the ActiveHybrid 3 which I think will hit the States in the near future. So I have a vague understanding of the challenge they face I (for one) hope they give us the option of the smaller diesels.

Yes, the trim for M-sport will be blue. However, the instrument panel will be the same as the sport line, which is accented in red. I agree, it is a little strange. However, there really are just two circles of red, so it won't stick out or look out of place.

Thanks, I just think it was worded badly. So it will have the blue strip across the dashboard, will the leather seats have blue highlight/stitching similar to the Sport's red highlight/stitching. If yes this will be great.

Should be able to see pricing guide within hours.. you have to be able to order something in production in less than 2 months.
ED should be able to process any day now!
Any word on ordering info yet?

The dash will have the option of getting the blue strip across the dash but we will not get the blue stitched alcantara seats in the states. We only can choose black leatherette, black leather with no contrast stitching, red leather with black contrast stitching, or beige leather with no contrast. The M sport key will have the blue trim as well.

Looks like the UK is getting leather as standard on the M sport and not Alcantara. Shame as I quite Alcantara.

2. The xDrive version has the same overall height as the RWD version

Would be pretty nice if these are correct.
