Carbon fiber aero kit
Hey all, been a proud owner of a 2018 440i LCI for roughly a month now and I absolutely love it!
I've been looking into adding some visual mods to my car. One I've been eyeing in particular is the RW Carbon "aero kit" if I may call it that. I'm looking into getting the front & rear diffuser, side blades/skirts, and truck lid all in carbon. I like the looks of it and at the price it's justifiable putting it on my car that I daily drive in Canada. I'm set on the CF look because my car is silver and I don't believe the matte black would look good on it (unless I can be proven wrong!) plus I got the gloss black grill and window trims. Just wondering if anybody has RW products on their 4s and would recommend them. I've seen some mixed reviews online saying that the carbon bubbles, gets foggy/cloudy, gotta be waxed every month, and fades yellow over time? I've also read satisfied reviews. Something I've noticed on forums is that unsatisfied people will usually voice their opinion, and satisfied people tend to keep quiet. I'm a little concerned about this and would greatly appreciate if anyone can give me their opinion. Especially if you are living in Canada, or northern USA, and has RW products. May you confirm that it's actually good quality and durable for our harsh winters? I like the idea and the look it gives the car, but I don't need it, hence why I'm looking into RW. The price is justifiable, and I would never pay over 1000 for one item on a daily driven car that will get covered in dirt, rocks, bugs, snow, salt and etc. especially in a harsh weather environment such as Canada all year around. If anyone has any suggestions for alternatives to the RW I'm all ears as well. I'm really looking for a complete kit in CF, but I'm open to suggestions! Much appreciated -JP |

I plan on heading down to their location and picking up one of their rear spoilers for my GC. I don't think I want to leave it CF though as nothing else on my car is CF so I'm probably going to have it shot body color (Jet black) before install....
