Ordering Options Not on the Order Guide (2016 F31)

I am looking at getting my first BMW, a 2016 328i xDrive Sportwagon. I've done a ton of research here and all of the knowledge I have gained from the forum is wonderful!

But there are a couple of questions I didn't find any answers to.

First, is there anyway to order the heated steering wheel as a standalone option? I really don't want to have to buy leather at $1450 to get the cold weather package.

Second, it looks like in other markets 19" wheel are offered on the wagon, but not here in the USA. Would it be possible to get style 407 or 403M from the factory or port installed?

If it's not possible on the wheels, I suppose I could order it with 17" wheels w/ all season tires and swap them for winters and then but the all seasons back on at lease turn int. I could then buy the 19" wheels I want and get summer tires for them. But that seems like a lot for a leased vehicle.

Garage List
Ted, the heated steering wheel only comes with the cold weather package. Other manufacturers (e.g. Ford) list is as a standalone option. You can ask a dealer if it can be an option installed at the port. Not sure about the wheels because I plan on selling the wheel/tire combo that come with the car and buying a nicer set from Tirerack.com which I have done with my last two new cars. I'm not leasing so I guess I can do that. :-)

BMWNA will not sell you an option by itself as a special order if it is part of a Package. The heated steering wheel is part of the Cold Weather Package.

You could special order the 407 wheels although they are not listed in the USA Ordering Guide but available in Germany without the requirement of any Package or suspension option. The 403 M requires the M Sport Package -which you could also special order in the USA.
