Exclamation Lease Return Problem!! Need help!

I have returned my 2010 BMW 128i lease by last week. Luckily, I don't have to pay anything since I have bought the $850 Safe-lease which covers all the damage and tire wear up to $5000 dollars. I got total damage charged of $2300 which is all covered under Safe-lease. The only thing I have to complete now is to send in 5 forms to Safe-Guard in order for me to get my $400 dollars deposit back from BMWFS, but I couldn't find my Safe-lease contract. Does anyone on this forum every encounter this?? Who should I contact with to get the copy of this contract? Thanks in advance!

Are you buying another BMW? If you are, you can trade in your lease for another BMW. I believe they don't count damages for your car but will reflect the trade-in value. Someone correct me if I'm wrong here.....

Or you can sell it on your own.

Um, call Safe-Lease and ask them to forward a copy? Or your dealer?

And, as Vinny said, 9 out of 10 times a dealer will be very lax with lease turn-in scrutiny if you're taking another car. And, what the heck damage did you have that totals $2,300? Demolition derby much?

I just turned in my North Carolina originated 328i lease into a Boulder, CO dealer who does NOT want a RWD car on his lot. As a result I had to pay for two new tires that were worn down too low. $600. That kinda stung amidst the excitement of leaving with my brand new 335.

$400 front bumper dent(wife hit the side wall of the garage), $400 rear bumper dent (not aware of), $300 side door panel( some stupid guy hit my door at parking lot while I was inside of the car). $1200 for 4 tires.

I didnt even bother to question them about $2300 charge. All I asked is how do I get my deposite back, cuz I know my Safelease covers up to $5000. As long as the damage is lower than that, I am a happy camper.
