Make sure to check your car after a dealer service!
Hi,
I just wanted to share my recent discovery after taking my car for a thermostat recall and picked it up this Wednesday. he first thing I notice when I picked it up was a scratch on the B Pillar but, I didn't bother with it as I thought it can be buffed out. I didn't bother to look at the engine at all and just recently, I tried to check the engine and notice they messed up my intake cover. Super pissed that I should've found it earlier and too bad It's Sunday. I will be calling the dealer tomorrow. Update: Called my SA and he acknowledged that the tech must have dropped it on the floor. Got the air box replaced Last edited by Devourer31; 02-09-2016 at 01:42 PM.. |

Mine has always been the car washes. I had the paint corrected on my car last fall and took it in for a fuel filter change, told the SA not to wash it 3 times, even said no wash on the front page. Swirl marks were even worse on it after the wash, than before.

^ Just had my car in last week for a basic oil change + minor stuff....got home only to find a nice long scratch and some swirls on the hood from the car wash / towels. (my fault for forgetting to decline the wash) Also found damage to my OBD port. My SA was kind enough to schedule me in this week to make right...but still, not cool.

Yeah I got scratches on my in take cover too! Really pissed about that one, but the intake cover can change so its possible to renew, although you shouldn't have to.
What I absolutley hate is when they scratch your console glass, you cant replace the glass/plastic by itself on these models, you have to replace the whole speedo console!

Damn glad I've never had a careless dealership like the OP's before...while I've had a few minor things happen, the dealership has always been very responsive in getting them taken care of immediately.

My car was manufactured in 2012/12 . There was problems with broken clips on the tail lights . This was worldwide and all dealers replace the lights under warranty. Expect my dealer This how was the dealer fix my problem
https://www.dropbox.com/sh/wrfao3oa1...E4812gLBa?dl=0 ( last picture after i repair it a bit.. ) and they just replace my lisence plate holder without ask , and just got some nice swirls to . After some serious letter with the customer service they replaced my light for free! but this just disgusting . Never again dealership |

You certainly know better than I, but when visiting your country, I don't expect excellent customer service. However, this goes beyond "bad service". Is there another dealer anywhere near you?
