FFS!!!

Because I don't have enough on my plate right now I decide to some how reverse into a tree today!! Got out checked, all looked ok. It wasn't until I looked again this afternoon that what looks like hair-line cracks on the top of the bumper!! Don't know if it's just the paint or not but wondered on the worst case if anyone knows the cost of new rear Msport bumper? And cost of spraying?

Thanks

Garage List
I did a similar thing, reversed into a post and looked all ok until I came to wash it...it seems to have creased the top of the bumper and put a slight crack/ridge in it - again another M Sport bumper

£1677.75

Someone ran into me and that was the cost for the repair.

I feel for you.

Hopefully you can get away with just a respray. A new rear bumper skin is ridiculously expensive at something like £770 +VAT, primer only.

I did a similar thing on my old F11 m sport bumper. In a million years never thought a body shop could sort it. I found a very good one locally and the result was amazing. All is not lost

Bugger that mate, gutted for you.

I smashed in to a Badger in my E92 M Sport and it broke the left hand side of the intake on the front bumper. Quoted similar price as above to replace.

I searched EBay and found a dealer who did second hand bumpers (cant remember user name but a search will bring up various recyclers).

Got an almost pristine (bar a couple of stone chips) M Sport bumper in correct colour for £70, free delivery (3 days later). I tidied the chips myself and stuck the new bumper on prior to selling car.

Worth a try to save a shit load of money.

Quick Ebay search results for F31

PS Even if you get a used bumper thats not the correct colour, its still worthwhile taking it to a spray shop, getting resprayed for a couple of hundred quid. If you insurance claim, you'll prob have an excess of £3-400 to pay and the nause of premium increase etc.

Very sorry to hear that. Somebody drove into the corner of my rear bumper while I was parked at a motorway services and kindly left without leaving their details. It cost £1600 to replace the whole bumper, though that was for a Luxury.
