Joined the club! just bought a 435ix

hello everyone, I've finally joined the club and bought a 2014 EB 435i xdrive!

it has:

Premium package

Lighting package

M sport package

Technology package

DHP (that you so much everyone who told me not to get an x drive without DHP)

Cold weather package

Drivers assist package.

I'm Loving the car so far, bought it from Pennsylvania two days ago, and drove it back to Michigan (that's where i live), drive was about 9 hours, but it flew by! the car is super smooth.

I'm pleasantly surprised, the car is very quick, quicker than I expected (coming from a c6 Corvette), I'm almost convinced that something was done to it, but considering I bought it from a BMW dealership, and its a CPO, I'd imagine they would remove any tune, am I correct ?

btw the car handles very well and feels nimble enough!

as far as pics, I was rushing to drive back from the dealer, so i couldn't get any nice pics and now the car is dirty lol, but here are some dealers pics of the car, and couple of mine

Need tints, black kidney grills, and gunmetal wheels at some point!

Very nice, congrats!
If the car has the m performance power kit (BMW's flash tune), the dealer would not remove it. It was on my CPO car and the dealer never even mentioned it, OR the m performance exhaust. Lucky me

Check your sport displays in the iDrive under Vehicle Info and if the maximum reading is 400 hp and 400 lb/ft of torque, you have the M Performance Power Kit. (MPPK)

Real easy: for the power kit, look under the hood. If you do indeed have the MPPK, there should be a small decal on the intake pipe that says "M Performance Power Kit", and there's also a different engine cover that says "BMW M Performance"

Looking at the pics of your new car, it looks like you have the stock exhaust and not the MPE.

Okay so it doesn’t have mppk, but the reading in vehicle info says 320 hp 320 torque, does that mean it had something done to it concidering it should be 300 hp and 300 torque, and hold up, mppk gets you up to 400?!!

BMW engines are more powerful than advertised, Dinan has a dyno chart for a stock 435i at
315hp 330tq. All though results may vary.
I have a 435i Xdrive also and my sports displays say 320hp/tq as well so probably normal.

Well that settles it then, I probably underestimated it before.. beautiful car btw!!

I’m having a blast driving it, the car handles very well! I need tints ASAP, and black kidney grill!
