Hello I have a 2015 435i BMW
I just got off the school and tried to turn on my car and my car started to alarm. AND everything that I said is not working and signs are on! I have engine sign on Driver/ Passenger restraint system sign on Emergency call malfunction Adaptive lighting malfunction Lighting system stop vehicle It was all sudden... The screen is off and AC is not working! I don't know what I have to do... Do I have to go to a dealership to find out or go to BMW specialist to fix and diagnose these problems? We won't know more than what you know from a distance. A quick diagnostic scan, plus voltage reading of battery is a good start.
At the moment it could be anything.

Wow if it is the battery were there any warning signs? I’ve got a ‘15 f36 and so far my car runs flawlessly.

If I have a low battery, my car won’t start. I drove my car more than 10 miles. And I started my car like 5 times and it works fine. |

Have you tried reading the code?
Hook your battery up to a charger overnight and see if it’s okay in the morning. Everyone should have a code reader and battery charger/maintainer. I consider it a prerequisite of owning a car. Oh, and knowing how to change a flat tire. I can’t believe how many 20 somethings I’ve run across that don’t know how. |

Just use a damn voltmeter for the battery. If it's bad should be lower than 12v... if the car is running it should be charging and will show between 12v to 14v charging if not then it's also bad.

I doubt the average driver would be all that comfortable using a voltmeter, what with leads, dials and contact points to deal with. A battery condition monitor that plugs into the console outlet is far more user friendly and need not cost more than $15.

When running it should always be over 13.5V. these tend to run around 14-14.5.
