I have a 2009 335 with the standard audio system which I understand is actually the "Hi-Fi" system here in the US. I feel it is completely adequate for my needs. In 2010 BMW used the "base" audio system and then in 2011 reportedly returned back to the Hi-Fi system. On 2010 loaners I've had I felt the downgrade to the base system was very obvious and rather poor sound quality. I'd rather not spend the extra for the HK system on the F30 but it depends on how good the standard audio system is. Anyone know any specs or comparison to the E90 "base" and "hi-fi" systems. Thanks.
