430 SOP is a few months away yet AFAIK. Mid next year IIRC.

Thanks Ninj, have really enjoyed driving the e46 although felt a heavy car.
The f30 320d msport I drove felt a lot ligher.
Latest delivery date is now by the end of the month, we'll see.

Mine finally leaves Durban today... So far eta melbs 18/11 fingers crossed they release the M Performance exhaust / power upgrade kit soon so I can get it all done prior to delivery.. Anyone else heard any rumours about this kit yet ?

sounds heaps better than the 328 haven't given it many squirts yet but can definitely feel the difference in engines

I have also ordered a 340i msport, extras were the sunroof, M brakes, fineline anthracite trim, orbital grey 19", black kidney grills and m performance front lip, extension blades, rear diffuser & boot lid add on. Order was placed in November so it should be due late Jan/2016.

Took up the full circle finance and also managed to get free servicing for 5 years because the missus works for BMW.

As for tuning, either SouthernBM or Active Motorwerke.

Won't be taking up paint protection from the dealership as I wanted to get the TACsystem paint protection (nano/ceramic coating)

The dealer gave me a 340i overnight a few weeks ago, the B58 motor is a cracker and a good step forward from the N55. Torque is available earlier and it is a really smooth motor, getting back into my 335i afterwards highlighted the improvements they've made

The car I had was an individual build, see pic below. I am not big on the cream interior and timber trim, although the leather trim dash was pretty tidy. The car was also noticeably quieter inside than my 2013 build. Overall not enough to tempt me for an upgrade, but one very nice bit of kit.

On a different note I just got back from Noosa where we had a brand new C class for a week. Damn nice car!!! It was only a C200 so a bit short on power, but a really sweet package and great to drive...

hi guys. i just ordered a melbourn red 340i msport, expecting delivery at the end of next month.

anyone else who orderd a 340i or going to purchase one, please contact your dealer about the mppk, it's an official tune kit for 340/B58 engine which bmw are already selling in eu and the states. if we all ask to buy it they might import it from Germany soon.

I have been chasing this since late last year and can not get any details out of the two dealerships I do business with and they cant get anything from BMW AU as to when it may be available in Australia but if you hear anything on availability be sure to let us know.
