Connected drive email
Good afternoon Chaps,
Just wondering if anyone who has Office 365 email and is using their connected drive email access could they please share the settings. I have found the port numbers, Pop and smtp servers etc, just cannot for the life of me get them to work. It keeps coming up with an issue with the incoming mail server. These are the settings used settings. Server name. Port. Encryption method POP3. outlook.office365.com. 995 TLS* v1-1.2 IMAP4. outlook.office365.com. 993 TLS* v1-1.2 SMTP. smtp.office365.com. 587 TLS v1-1.2 Thanks in advance. H |

I have o365 but I haven't set up direct integration only via phone.
However, o365 is pretty standard - you shouldn't need both IMAP and POP3 - just one or the other. IMAP is probably superior. My o365 intructions are a little different: POP3: Server name: outlook.office365.com Port: 995 Encryption method: SSL - This is insecure but let's not worry. IMAP: Server name: outlook.office365.com Port: 993 Encryption method: SSL SMTP: Server name: smtp.office365.com Port: 587 Encryption method: TLS What would be good is calendar + skype for business integration for phone conferences. Neither is provided via IMAP/POP3. Hope that helps. |

I haven't setup O365 on connected drive email, nor have I seen the interface, but can you send me a pic of the options you have when putting your details in? Office 365 is an exchange based email service, so if you have an option to add an exchange account that will work best. Otherwise, maybe POP3 or IMAP are disabled on your O365 service. Check your settings there.

You can can also test your imap or pop settings on your phone or pc. As Dom says, you don't tend you use these as it is all exchange/activesync and they may be disabled.
