Because it's a fucking pain in the ass, pointless piece of functionality! The cost of the vGate thingymigig and the cost to unlock the coding features of the bimmercode app were worth it just to turn the fucker off!

I don't honestly know how anyone could not find it annoying, or more to the point useful!

Surely I f it bothers you... When you press the start button, also press the stop/start button.... Voila.... :

Agree.. but it's easy to forget occasionally and it's also a pain if you go back from sport mode to comfort mode and it switches back on automatically
