New F30! New to forum! 2015 328D
Hey everyone!
Finally made to move to BMW on my commuter car - 2015 328D. I'm looking forward to learning more about the brand and options/upgrades. Winter tires and rims are next! The car will get tinted in 2 weeks. Looking forward to learning! Last edited by Canadianducati; 10-17-2015 at 08:31 AM.. Reason: Pic |

New F30
Hey...I have a 2014 328d which I love. First thing I added were urethane clear lens protectors for headlamps and fog lights. I drive 25K miles / year and don't want my lenses frosted over by road grit.
But watch out for contaminated diesel. Last month I filled my tank at a usual grungy place I've gone to many times before, parked car at home for 10 days while traveling, upon my return first time I drove it the fuel destroyed my fuel system (car only had 7,200 miles on it)...so expensive I put it through my insurance....car since repaired and all's well now...but hope that never happens to anyone else. I've been looking around and prefer to go with a BMW OEM rim for a number of reasons but mostly since I travel quite a bit and want it to hold up to harsh Canadian Winters. I've decided on Blizzak's as I've had them in the past and love them!

No worries. Interesting story. It would be nice if filling stations needed to publish ratings on fuel in a similar fashion to how restaurants need to show inspections and whether they pass health inspections and the specific grade they receive.... |

Hello all
My 2014 328d just turned 100,000 mile. And still going strong. Runs like new. For those who have under 75,000 mile check your egr valve. There must be lots of carbon build up. There is clip on youtube how to clean your egr valve. If your egr valve get dirty you will get check engine light on your dash. I replaced my thermostat and few valve couple days ago. $600... And i ask to mechanic to clean it for free. But im going to buy extra egr valve just in case for future use. |

I would keep them and put winter tires on them, thats what Im doing. I converted my car which looked like yours to an M sport and went with the 400M rims in the end.

Since your considering the 400m?s here is what they look like on your body style. I had them on mine for about a month.
