Just tried and still no luck for me. I'm still getting the dreaded esign disclosure.

Weird; I was getting that error until yesterday, and it magically worked today. Nothing exciting or more informative than the 800-number, of course.

my 340i SA, is not showing up, "Only new vehicles can be added by production number. If your vehicle is currently in production, it is possible it has not yet entered our system.".

I wonder if its becuase South Africa cars for MY 2016 won't start production until August

It never would accept my production number. I just got that same error message you are getting. Then it accepted my VIN once I got that after production started, however I got into the lockout loop described in this thread.

With all my previous orders it would accept the production number within a couple days of the order being placed. That web site is jacked up for sure.

So for those of you who it works for now, is it showing the right "line" on the car? I know I ordered the msport, but it is showing just a regular sport front on the picture it generated.

Same for me. The colors at the lower right are correct, but the photo is completely wrong as far as MSport package and wheels.

I didn't order MSport, but mine definitely shows the wrong wheels.

Nope, it's got the colors but it's not showing M Sport or the 21C wheels for me.

That seems strange; he placed the order weeks ago and he still doesn't see a VIN/order number? I got mine within a couple of days of the order. BMWNA (in New Jersey) should be able to resolve.

I got my production number 2 days after putting in the order as well. If it has been weeks, your car should already be built.

Yeah... this is fishy. If they don't have production number to give you right away, it may be that they don't have one at all and they are stringing you along until they do get an allocation.

I did my order over the phone and within two minutes my CA emailed me a PDF of the completed order with the production number on it.

I'll also chime in to say my CA had a PDF with a production number the minute he placed the order, and I was able to start tracking the car over the phone within days.

If I were to speculate based on what I've been reading on these forums over the past month or two, I'd say that your dealer may not have had a production allocation for the car you want and could be stringing you along until he gets another free slot.

For instance, my dealer said he only gets one F31 production allocation per month, which I used, but it's a much less popular model than the other F30s.
