Dealer Incentives-Discounts in Pricing
We are in the middle of March which is also leading to the end of the 1st quarter. CAs can be a little hungrier at this time, sooooooo
What are the current "incentives/discounts" that are currently out there? Based on my reading of several threads, having this knowledge up front, can be useful to be able to keep these items out of the discussion until the end so that once I have negotiated a "price below the MSRP", I can then factor these additional items in and possibly obtain an even better bottom line. Thanks, |

right now BMW financial is giving $2000 in option credits. Negotiate a price with the dealer, then ask for the credits. You should be below invoice after all is said and done.

incentives
Lease is up on my current car in a month. Figured I'd get some great deals with the incentive. Haven't seen it yet. One dealer is quoting $5k over invoice and incentive for a 328ix with M sport. No leather and has a 1k miles on it. I'll wait him out until the end of the month and see what happens. Go to Edmunds.com for recent incentives. Some of the manufacturers sites include them also.

It always helps to email several dealers for multiple quotes and possible incentives. Even if they are out of your state. Your local dealer will always match a written quote. If not, will come very close.
I would not pay more than invoice at this point. 2015's are around the corner. You can always email Dave Ailes from the forum here for a bottom line quote too. |

Interesting thought in that while I had initially planned to go in and purchase the 328d-x outright, it might pay for me to talk "finance" and apply the 2k towards options, and then payoff early --provided there is no pre-payment penalty. Or am I misreading into this? |

you do not have to finance to get the credits. if you look on the bmw website it says "Allowance is a credit against the MSRP of the final purchase, loan or lease" which means however you pay, you will get the credit.
