You do realize that the F34 is the bastard stepchild of a Pontiac Aztek and an AMC Eagle, right? As you will be incessantly reminded on this forum, the very existence of the 3GT is an affront to both civilization and the laws of thermodynamics; every unit purchased brings the heat death of the universe appreciably closer.

Welcome to the club! 😁

LOL !

Well I wouldn't have known what a Pontiac Aztek or an AMC Eagle looked like even if one had run me over, so I've just googled them, but OMG they're ugly aren't they.

Congratulations on your new F34 Xoulas, looking forward to seeing more pictures.

Same reason why I purchased the GT. The ability to put two car seats in the back and room in the trunk for a stroller or wagon. Great family car but nothing like my 335i.

So jealous that you're able to get RWD where you live.

+1!

This is my #1 complaint with the car. I live in an area where snow does occur, and have never had an issue as long as the car is wearing proper tires. I really don't know why BMW NA thinks the wagon and GT should only be offered AWD in the states: 90+% of the time it's just added weight and complexity for half the market.

Focus groups and spreadsheets (and money rolling in by the bucketload). Hard to come up with a good business reason for them to change.

How did you install the larger screen? I thought you needed Nav because the video outputs dont match the smaller screen.

The BMW club in here orders 8.8" screen with DVD and external video output. It costs around USD 2,000. With nav it's about USD 2,500. They claim it's original from BMW and the actual thing looks authentic.
