How many got their f30 below invoice?

Is it really possible to get a 2014 f30 500-2000$ below dealer invoice? If so the 328i could be in my range . Seeing the true market values on edmunds or true market the msrp is 5000$ over the market value.

There a lot of incentives on these cars right now. Also, if you are a USAA member there's an extra incentive.

With incentives I got my 328d $2050 under invoice. All that (and more) went to mods and upgrades.

I got mine for well below invoice. I also had a USAA incentive, plus a finance incentive with BMW Financial which dropped another grand or $1500 off the price, along with a 3.19% rate. I started out with the online quote request to numerous dealerships, and then used the quotes to negotiate. Sort of a dealership Thunderdome.

Incentives depend on the month and typically you can get invoice and then get the option credit off from there ($500 this month) - so invoice less $500 would probably do the trick (like I messaged you).

I negotiated $600 over invoice, then applied about $1800 in incentives to end up $1200 below invoice.

Obviously no one expects to pay less for their new car than the dealer paid for it...

Although according to Top Gear you can actually pay less for a Lexus LFA than it costs Lexus to build it. Not great value though since it's extremely expensive and cars, with very few exceptions, are a depreciating asset.

Of course. They wouldn't sell you a car to lose money. I've never heard of a dealer revealing what they actually get charged for a car though. The artificial "dealer invoice" is just a negotiating point.

Just be sure you're comparing apples to apples. The Edmunds quote you show is for a 2013 328, not a 2014. Even so I'm sure the other posts are about right.

I'm sure lots of guys on here think they ARE paying less than dealers cost. If not then why wouldnt they use MSRP as the starting point.

Yeah Lexus lost money on every LFA it sold. That's what happens when you spend 10+ years developing a car.

The published factory invoice numbers plus MACO and training are usually considered as dealer costs, which can be offset by dealer's quota bonuses(from manufacturer). The best deals so far seem to be factory invoice minus incentives(BMWFS, option credits, build out cash, UDE/TeamUSA, etc, etc), although the norm seems to be dealer invoice+$500 and minus all incentives.

Thats huge for 320 i would think. Nice work.
I got my 335 in Dec/Jan (clearout time) and got about $8000 off list....ridiculous. Zero negotiating, the guy just barked it out. Thats how they got me....that and the red interior. Wish Audi would do that at the end of the year.

Yes, BMWNA and dealers are in the business of making money, even with the incentives and such it is doubtful that anyone(including BMWNA) is losing money on any deal.
