Paint costs for m sport conversion kit
Featured on BIMMERPOST.com I've seen multiple threads but not too many people near me My f32 is DYING for the m sport therapy treatment and my wallet is burning a hole in my pocket Regardless of my port financial decision... if you live in Texas, Austin, H or D town, and you've done the conversion, f32 or other chassis, how much did it cost for all the pieces and where did you take it to? My color is also imperial blue metallic so I know it'll be more expensive with paint matching but I'll deal with that later lol

The side skirts were I believe $175. It was about $1000 for both bumpers and the side skirts out the door.
I am in PA so pricing might be a little different and paint quality varies hugely between shops. |

As for longevity how's it all holding up? Any imperfections popping up or gripes?

I would stay away from any chain body shops and looks for a place that does custom work or restorations. |

But that's good to know, i would definitely consider it, I just want to TRY keeping it below 1k for paint if possible, 1500 max I'd also probably end up going to Dallas anyways since that's where I'm from and where my parents live. Take a week to just chill and do the conversion so I'm not stressed out my mind at my apartment wondering where every little bolt went

Be careful of saving too much money. Quality automotive paint costs about $350/gallon. Quality clear is a bit more (at least in my area). At my shop the bumpers would run roughly $400 each, side skirts about $250. $1300 total, but I use a quality paint line and guarantee my work for life. If someone does it super cheap, they may simply be using a low quality product that won't hold up over time.
Of course the labor rate up north is much higher than down south, so you'll naturally be a bit cheaper where you are. Good luck!
