You really need newer PSdZData full, but it may be possible to get by with just adding the CAFD to your existing PSdZData CAFD library.

What is the CAFD file name you need?

And you copied this into to "C:\ESysData\psdzdata\swe\cafd" folder, and not C:\ESysData\SWE or some other folder?

What version of E-Sys and PSdZData are you using?

No. C:\ESysData\SWE can and should be empty.

The issue is your PSdZData can not support the new CAFD. What version of the PSdZData did you inject the CAFD into?

So I coded my 2013 F25 and I think I accidentally turned off the comfort opening of the windows and sunroof by the fob can someone tell me the code to turn it back on? I forgot what I touched on Saturday.

Do you guys recommend doing all coding for the F10 M5 using Windows 8 or Mac OS X ML?

Also, what application versions should I be using? Still should be using ESYS 3.18.4 with 46.3 data files?

And what is PSdZData? I didn't read anything about that in the first post.

Trying to get all info I need together so when I get my car I can bang this out.

I can try to help you. Please be aware I have not done this before!!

I read that F10 function values are the same as F25.

There is one fvalue for key fob and one for comfort access. Do both not work? Also note that both (fob and CA) require an additional value to be set.. See the below:

Both (fob and comfort acc) require "ASP_BEIKLAPPEN_BEI_KOMFORTSCHLIESSEN" set to aktiv.

Key Fob (closes mirrors + windows + moon roof thru fob)
Module: CAS
Section: 3003 FH MASTER
Function Value: KOMFORTSCHLIESSUNG_FB
New Value: aktiv / Werte=01
Default: nicht_aktiv / Werte=00


Comfort Access (closes mirrors + windows + moon roof thru comfort access)
Module: CAS
Section: 3003 FH MASTER
Function Value: KOMFORTSCHLIESSUNG_PA
New Value: aktiv / Werte=01
Default: nicht_aktiv / Werte=00

Let me know if that works for you. I provided this info directly off the attached F10 cheat sheet (which should be the same for F25).

I've been running E-Sys 3.18 on a Windows 8 laptop and it's been completely fine. Not sure about Mac OS though.

I have 3.22 running psdzdata 49.1 on another laptop running Windows 7.

I have the standard 6NH bluetooth only(no nav), I read you can code it to 6NK to be able to play music/enable cover art, is this correct? Or does this require a specific hardware other then the standard bluetooth?

Everything on the top list is possible but not the 6NH to 6NK - you definitely need nav for that. If your car had 609 (Nav) it will automatically have a combox since it's needed for the voice control; you will just need to unlock it via coding.

Hi everyone,

Very new to the forum and F30. I struck a good deal on a 2012 320i here up north in Canada (Brand new from BMW). Previously had a 323i (E90)

After reading 3000+ posts regarding coding i understand i cant do much with my HU/iDrive other than some basic coding.

What are my options to add a combox? I looked under the boot and it doesn't have one. Is it as simple as plug and play? or do i have to do any wiring.

Friend working at BMW can get me any part with 15-20% discount. However i have also need the combox unit for $330, but it doesn't specify anything in regard to wiring.

Any advice?

In F25 Chassis , this is controlled by settings in both CAS and FRM ECU's, so I would VO Code both modules to reset them, and start your FDL Coding over again:

VO Code:

Connect => Read FA (VO) => Activate FA (VO) => Read VCM (SVT) => Right-Click on ECU CAS (the ECU itself not the underlying CAFD) => Select CODE.

Repeat for FRM module.

Win 8 64 works fine.

Ideally you should use E-Sys 3.22.5 and the latest PSdZData version available (i.e. 49.1), but it may be possible to use older E-Sys and or PSdZData depending on what version of ISTA/P was last used to program the car.
