Cancel your order now!

I've had it...

Ordered my car at the weekend for September delivery but it's been assigned a November build!

Will everyone please stop ordering F30s so I can get mine quicker?!

Thank you

November build? Apart from the lead time, that's good because it means you get the 2014 model, which, if you opted for the Sport Auto, will have Launch Control, CIC-HIGH (new iDrive) and other general improvements/updates!

Strange, dealer confirmed our 330d order today, week 34 build.

Maybe it is 335d related, or do you have individual spec on it?

Wow - week 34 is good, well done with that.

He did say it's the first 335d they ordered and has subsequently requested the build be brought forward - fingers crossed!

No 'Individual' items but lots of extras.

Either way it will be a MY2014, the 335 was not available previously.

I will need therapy if I have to wait that long

I ordered my 335d with individual interior on the 9th of July and it's due the 9th of September... almost halfway!

I ordered late last week but haven't been given a delivery date yet. For those who have been through this recently, how quickly did the dealer give you a date?

Will be a week tomorrow since I ordered and still nothing. Hoping it won't be November but I'm got a pretty standard spec 330d X-Drive - certainly nothing I'd consider as 'special' anyways.

Thanks!

Ordered my 335d on 21st June. Should be arriving at dealer in 3 weeks time. Taking delivery on 1st Sept. As far as I know, still all going to plan... Bloody hope so as already sold the 750i and it's going to its new home that weekend.

That's really weird as I was told MY14 cars including the 335d weren't commencing build until wk 29. Ah well, look forward to hearing how you get on with it once you finally get it.

That has got to be the dealers allocated demo car, re-assigned to you. That is quick for an F30 six cylinder. Most are waiting 3+ months.

Can't wait for the review

When are the dealers getting their demo cars? Would love one for a day.

Ordered my 330 a fortnight ago, got a mail this week saying it's in for build, expected beginning of september. Which I was quite surprised at, I was expected that 3 month wait...

I'm in a similar situation, placed the order on 24th July & expected delivery is 5th September, that's 6 weeks in total if the expected date can be relied on?

Well chuffed

Probably for the best in my case, I was coming close to adding on surround view after reading the other thread. Got to draw the line somewhere.

Are they still planning to shutdown? I thought BMW and MB cancelled their shutdowns this year:

If anybody is putting a private plate onto their new car beware as the paperwork has to go to the DVLA for the road tax and it is taking upto 4 weeks. Also, according to the dealer they are not allowed to issue road tax on the premises anymore and it has to be applied for from the DVLA. Has anybody else come across this?
It has thrown a spanner in the works for my car - the dealer sent the paperwork off on the 19th July!!!!

Ah well it's got a HUD, which will keep me entertained gadgetwise, and I figured I need to hold some stuff back for the next car

Sounds like you transferred from another vehicle?

If you have the 'plate on retention it's straight forward, just like registering on a regular number.

I started the process to remove my plate (and put on retention) early as this is taking a long time, waiting for the dealer to do this at point of delivery would be a no go for me.
