A few mods. Opinions?

BIMMERPOST
     Featured on BIMMERPOST.com
I have a 2013 335i Sportline with 47k miles.

I'm thinking of adding the following:

M Performance Suspension Kit
JB+ or Dinan Sport Performance Tuner
BMS Performance Intake
Upgrade charge pipe

Anything else that I might need when adding these things? Any programming or additional tuning?

Any preference between JB+ or Dinan? Basically same thing except Dinan has Bluetooth connectivity?

Any other suggestions? This is my daily driver and I want to do some moderate upgrades without getting crazy and maybe affecting the overall reliably.

Thanks!

Rather than JB+ or Dinan Sport Performance Tuner, I'd suggest going MPPK (if you want the warranty or concern about easy removals during servicing) or JB4 (an option that's still removable) or bootmod3 (if you don't care)
I'd go Wagner FMIC Comp 2 instead of BMS. But that's only from what i've heard recommended by others. I got a ER FMIC.

If you are adding a BMS intake, strongly recommend you go with JB4.

Dinan Sport and JB+ are the same except the bluetooth connectivity.

I want to do some basic mods without getting too crazy. I'm not going to track the car or anything. Just want to enjoy the experience a little more.

I want to do some basic mods to upgrade the handling and increase power a little without affecting the overall reliability of the car. I don't want to go down a rabbit hole with a bunch of mods creating issues. I thought a JB+, intake, and charge pipe would be easy mods. I've read to upgrade the charge pipe because the original ones will burst with added boost?

I don't quite understand all the nuances of the JB4. I think the JB+ just increases the psi of the turbo but doesn't really affect anything else?

What's the best, most reliable way to add about 50hp? I've read a bit but still am a noob when it comes to this stuff. That's why I don't want to get too crazy.

Thanks!

Why would you recommend JB4? Thanks!

Some cars throw a code with open intakes, Jb4 takes suppresses the code

If you're looking for a little more kick. Wagner Tuning, Evolution Racewerks, Mishimoto, Injen, BMS, AWE, Akrapovic, make reliable bolt on mods for BMW (i.e. intake, charge pipe, downpipe, exhaust, intercooler).

I'd recommend JB4 if you're looking for the most functional/integrative option to an ECU upgrade (BMS water methanol, BMS intake, bluetooth connect).

So if I do go with the JB4 is a charge pipe pretty much mandatory?

I could go JB4 plus charge pipe and tune the JB4 so that it works well with just a charge pipe upgrade? Then if I decide to upgrade FMIC, DP, etc, I could change the JB4 tune to take advantage of the other upgrades?

Sorry for the dumb questions. I'm just really starting to research this stuff.

Thanks!
