You would sure know that’s a BMW! They really need some new blood in the design department and that is before I have seen the inside which will be identical to the range.
Not just BMW who have got lazy in design but they really seem to keep repeating it. |

Have you seen the X4 and how that is coming along.
Seriously this 2nd generation I think it's quite a looker, almost Macan esque in a BMW design way. The white M40d for example Terry, looks sweet! March 2018 production. Redesigned 2018 BMW X4 Revealed in Many Colors http://x3.xbimmers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1416836 I've also looked over the specs over the X3 and it seems 'light' do take that with a pinch of salt of course. Some models looking 1780kg region which is X drive 3 series weights. Impressive for the size of the X3/4.

The Macan walks the perfect line for us between looking good and sporty, but still having a decent practical load space.

This is crazy, my list currently is: 530d X3 M40i X5 X4 Audi SQ5 Audi Q7 Audi RS3 Saloon Audi RS4 Avant Audi S4 Audi S5 Porsche 718 Cayman Porsche Macan S Diesel All very different cars.....The Audi RS4 Avant has suddenly crept up as its €79K here where the S4 Avant is @72K. A 7K premium to go with the RS4 seems a decent ask. |

I might be leaning towards an X4 M40i in the future. Have a quick look over in the X4 forum. Someone posted a magazine review of that v Macan vs Merc vs F Pace vs Velar. I couldn't believe the difference in velar vs f pace considering same engine and chassi

Give it time. Brokers already at 8% apparently. (which isn't amazing but this is launch month).

Brace yourself. Local had a 30d Msport in fully loaded. Figures without Price Support and lower APR is eye watering. Pretty much a loaded MSport but
£7k down and £689 pcm Hmmmmm so more than a 7 series or an X5 M50d then. Nope.

But there was a M event on - so ever M car under the sun there. Got a test drive in M3 and saw the new X3 - sadly, not the M0i. M3 is a great car - but not what I need. So heart now set on X3 M40i - getting quotes and will take it from there. Was told they were not available until March 2018 - but current PCP expires in June, so will keep it until nearer the end. As long as the figures are ok - best discount so far is £3.8k - I will take the gamble and order it without driving the car. Will just have to watch the video above a few more times....... Looking at £53k list price M40i.
Dealer contribution of £2.5k, £4K deposit, 5.9% APR = £626 per month. Not great....but not too bad either!! Waiting for other figures and will probably take a huge gamble and order! |
