Exclamation Sport Line and 840

The Las Vegas dealership here tells me that it's not possible to get option 840 with the Sport Line even with the performance tires for the 335, that it can only be had with the M-Sport line. Is he lying or is that a fact?

They're lying, you can get it with the Sport Line.

Just take a look at the ordering guide, http://www.f30post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=844159

I'd suggest going to a dealer where the people are actually competent.

Yeah, there are dealers who are actually clueless like mine who didn't know much about options let alone standard stuff on a car. Sad,...but true.

I gave him this link The BMW 3 Series Sedan. Standard and Optional Equipment PDF straight from BMW's website and I gave him the 2014 BMW 3 Series (F30) Sedan Price and Order Guide link. He tells me there's nothing he can do. This guy is the sales manager too....

I thought the guy was either lying or just incompetent. If the latter, is there a certain code he needs to add before 840 can be added and ZRT removed? This is the Vehicle Inventory Report:

I'd honestly just go to another dealership, I wouldn't trust that one to reliably provide adequate service.

For option 840 you need to specify that you want the performance tires and not the all season tires. Option 840 is not allowed with all season tires. Also if your car has gone into production the dealer would not be able to change anything in the order.

I've told him that I want the performance tires. He tells me that even after specifying the performance tires he cannot add option 840 or remove code "ZRT." Is it because it's an xDrive?

I have been under the impression that option 840 is required for the M PPK, which is my biggest concern here. Am I mistaken? I was under the impression that the extra cooling was a requirement but after asking on these forums I found that not to be the case.

My dealer is giving me the option to either take the car as is, or re-order it and go the M-Sport Line route. My only gripe here is the lack of fog lights.
