F32 Port Installed Accessories?

BIMMERPOST
     Featured on BIMMERPOST.com
Is there any info on whether we can get the MSport exhaust installed?

I've only seen PIA part lists for the F30, obviously its a bit early in the F32s life to expect miracles but has BMW released anything regarding the F32?

I thought I heard something about November being the start of the M Performance accessory installs at the port for the F32.. But don't quote me on that. Maybe it was casually mentioned in the thread that revealed all of the 4-series performance accessories?

I'm also very curious...

EDIT:

Yea it was mentioned in this thread: http://www.f30post.com/forums/showth...=M+Performance

"As for availability? The F32 M Performance Parts will be available from November 2013."

Hmm... I may hold my order off for a couple of weeks then to make sure I can get the M Performance Exhaust installed, no reason to rush if I can save some dough. Although, 6 weeks from now is a November delivery slot.

Well, I have a 435i that finished production on Tuesday and is currently on its way to the port in Germany. It will probably be another 2-4 weeks before the car arrives on US soil at the Vehicle Prep Center (which is where they install the M Performance parts, I think). So, if you factor in delays for getting the initial production number/allocation, you could probably place the order in the next two weeks and still be able to get the accessories. But, like you said, it might not be worth rushing it if you miss the accessories by a week or something. Maybe your CA will know more about the official date when the accessories become available.

my CA is finding out about this..my 435 will finish production tomorrow..and im crossing my fingers it makes one of the 3 ships headed out Monday, Tues or Weds of next week. If it does, it'll hit the port in the U.S around the 10th of Nov.... I'm trying to get the exhaust done at port too... I'll update you when I hear back.

Sorry guys, not happening. The only performance add on for the F32 at this time is the M Performance brakes. Exhaust and MPPK is going to be early 2014. This really blows because now I'll have to pay the dealer to install it. I also think the warranty is less 2yr vs. 4yr/50k.

I thought I read somewhere VIA at the port stick with the original new car warranty and dealer installed accessories only have 2YR warranty.

Let's say the exhaust is installed at the port. It will have 4YR/50K warranty on it. If the dealer does the install it only has 2YR. Your car still has it's 4/50k but not on the exhaust.

I might be wrong, I'll have a look...

My F32 (Canadian Version) has been built and shipped, and includes the new MPPK and M Performance Exhaust, so they have been factory available for Canadian Cars coming out of Reisenberg since Sept, at least.

Hmm.. I just had a look at the US configurator, and see that they don't show up, but they do on the Canadian version as "M Performance Package II"... interesting..

Sorry guys, but M Performance Parts release for 4 Series has been pushed back to Q2 2014.

I spoke with the CA from .ca on why this might be, and he said that it's possible that BMW US didn't "commit" to the particular package in time when all of this is scheduled by marketing for the MY in advance... so now it's a bit like catch-up after the launch for Q2..

In our case, there are no "lines", and the base starts with the M-Sport whether you want it or not, piling on from there with 2 additional M Performance packages plus the usual others + options.. it's quite different than the US.

If you get an M Perf part installed while the car in still under it's 4yr/50k warranty, the new part is warranted through the end. If you only have, for example, one year left on the car (or out of warranty for that matter) when you install a new M Perf part, then the M Perf part itself is still warranted for 2 years.

Just confirmed the f30 335 exhaust and f32 have the exact same part numbers for stock exhaust--- this should mean the m performance from the f30 will be an easy fit to the f32
