Tint manufacturers usually exclude scratching from their warranty. 3M does.

Your dealer may work with you and replace under warranty. The Tint manufacturers pretty much have to take the dealers word for the warranty claim. Kind of hard for the manufacturer to analyze a piece of removed film after the fact.

@AWMSPORT - What brand film did you have installed? Some have better scratch coatings than others.

great news. Saves me some time for sure. Thanks for the heads up.

AWMSPORT also good info. Have to find a tint guy that offers a warranty. My 5 series and 335 all had the scratches too.
Try going to Tint world

Yup, in some cases. There's varying qualities of tint. Same size rolls of tint can be had for under $100 to over $500 depending on manufacturer/quality.

Did you buy the Tint Protector felt? It comes with full install instructions.

You must have bought the cheap household moleskin crap. All moleskin is not created equal dude.

Um, I couldn't install it because the door panels do not come off. There are no instructions for the F30 and I guess you can use the e90 instructions, except the remove the door panel part. It is from tint protector.

I have an e90 m3 now and it has no streak / scratch problems wihtout the moleskin. lol.

It's funny how the older BMW's came with factory felt and the newer ones don't. Penny pinching?

Seems like it. Or rather the money goes elsewhere (technology) at the expense of other parts.
