Not really. An indy shop can install the new lower air intake box and the "M Performance" engine cover but the DME (ECU) reprogramming has to be done by the BMW service center while the car is connected to the dealer's service computer.
The MPPK comes with an envelope containing an activation code. The BMW dealer would need to connect the car to their service computer and then enter the activation code in order for the new programming to be downloaded to your car's DME. MPPK for the earlier 2012 builds also get a new DME module that will need to be installed replacing the DME module in the car, before the new programming could be applied.
