VVIVID Vinyl is a good product, and quite affordable compared to 3M 1080 or Avery stuff.

I can't help but visualize in my mind the wrapping of not just the bezel, but that whole section around the shifter. You'd have to cut out the comfort/sport and camera buttons, the drink holder and ashtray but that wouldn't be that tough. None of the curves are too extreme. It would probably look great.

Since I don't have the CF panels but have a big black ceramic looking panel under the iDrive controls, I guess some vinyl wrap might look good on that plastic center section. Hmm.

So I did acquire a CF trim piece for the shifter base.

Overall quality is decent... thin, clean edges.

No idea if it matches current CB weave/shade of color.

And as we previously discussed, might be CB overkill.

I'll take some pics when I get home.

G11 ceramic gloss engraved button.

F10 appear to be more satin

G11 with gloss looks much better, IMO.

But no idea what’s going to happen.

Hey guys, going to do my interior in glossy CF from oCarbon. This means the left and right dash pieces and my 4 door handles. I can also get shifter and shifter surround done in cf too for an extra $100. Too much cf? I was debating ceramic but wasn't sure if it'd look out of place. Also, I'd like to hear more about the F10 shifter in the F30.. If it's not a straight fit, what did you have to do to make it fit? Thanks!

Matt does excellent work. Just installed a kit in my m235.

I ended up doing the door handles and already had a CF gear shifter. It's right on the edge of enough/too much.

On my 335 I ended up with f80 leather door handles with silver stitching... looks really clean and I complimented it with the f80 merino leather sliding armrest with matching stitching.

Doesn't look out of place against the black Dakota leather.

If it was my car, I would just do the center trim/air vent/ center chunk that surrounds idrive.

Not a fan. It's not so much that it's 'too much CF' so much as it's mismatched pattern. It's like you wore a suit with the jacket being a flat colour with no pattern, but the pants being pinstripe. Also, the CF pattern you can instantly see is of lower quality than the actual CF of the rest of your trim.

Btw, do you have photos of the F80 parts you put in? I've been debating on the sliding armrest for a while and also leather handles.
