Honestly the 335i is just amazing! I have a story to tell and can't believe it!

So today I went to Oakville to meet a friend (F30.ca)...along the way I met a convertible 335i...it had the new lights so was a newer model.

Anyway we were side by side at a traffic signal and he thought I wanted to race, however I was on Eco pro...so once the light was green, off he went and I was left back.

Anyway we met again at another signal, the very next one. This time he really got on my nerves. He kept staring at me as if he was trying to say something "negative"...LOL...SO, now I put my car on Sport mode...and the green signal came...

There was a loud sound as we both had 335i's and the exhausts were roaring but my 8AT was AWESOME! Before I knew it I jumped way ahead of him...WAY AHEAD OF HIM!!!

TBH I was actually shocked that his 335i, which I think was a manual was left behind.

I'm so happy with the 8AT!!! I love my car!!!

Just wanted to give you guys a little story of what happened to me today...

Enjoy!

Looks good!!! The 19" hides the xDrive stance quite well.

Ya, I am pretty happy to not have a massive gap...also like that they stagger the wheel/tires on it...wasn't sure if they would with the x...

Here are a couple more pics guys. Of course it rains for the first time in three weeks on the day I pic her up, but this is life, so she is a bit dirty. Handles dirt much better than black would, so that is good news. I can't believe how much I love everything about this car, haven't stopped smiling since picking her up on Saturday. I was a bit concerned with how she would be sitting based on some of the pics I have seen, however I am very happy with the amount of gap. I don't know how much this has to do with having the Adaptive M Suspension, or not having X Drive.

My first BMW, and so far

Your lawn's in great shape.....I've been busting my ass for 2 weeks trying to fix all the damage caused by the ridiculous heat we had in Ontario this summer.

Those pics of EBII make me feel better about the colour. Hopefully I can see one on a lot soon.

We have a big weed problem this year, the pictures don't really show it. Beats the vole problem of last year though!

I use a product called Par 3 for weeds. Not sure if you can get it in AB, but I imagine you can.

We can't buy it in Ontario so I need to get it from Saskatchewan. But if you want a sure-fire cure to your weed issues, and something that won't kill the lawn, get Par 3.

It's probably going to be at an agricultural supplier. Great stuff.

How come there's no front license plate? I thought they were mandatory in AB?

Beautiful car! Will you be driving your car all year ? Was wondering, as a food friend of mine lives in Alberta and I hear the winters are terrible there! You said you didn't get XDrive right? Figure a good set of winter tires will do the trick for you ?

So finally expecting my wife's F30 to arrive hopefully in a couple of weeks. Looking to get it tinted about 35% all around. I live in Oakville. Can anyone recommend a good place to get this done at a reasonable cost? I prefer 3M tint. Thanks !

Oakville? Isn't that a place you pass on the way to Toronto...like a solid 1/2 hour before you get there?

Kahuna, great taste in vehicles and in stereo speakers!........I recognize you also from the Bowers and Wilkins forum. My 335 xdrive should be arriving in the next few weeks. Please keep us updated on your driving impressions as you put some more miles on your car

Do you have a vin yet? I am also scheduled for week 37

I don't have a vin, only a production number.

Don't think you can track, but I believe you can call BMW's toll free number and get updates.

No VIN yet ... CA said she would give it to me as soon as its available.

What toll free # are you referring to?
