My F30 328i mandatory mods

I planned these mods before even ordering my 328i sport line:

- AC Schnitzer power upgrade (294hp/ the famous huge smile on drivers face after installation)
- Wagner tuning competition IC (due to the increased boost)
- Awron data display (to monitor engine live data while driving)
- Msport exhaust
- Michelin Pilot Sport 245 (to increase the grip on the beautiful 397 rims)
- Bavarian Technic diagnostic cable tool (to monitor any fault codes. No fault for the moment. I was affraid of some Knocking/ignition timing issues)
- OEM silver bulbs
- DVD in motion (took me 30' to buy it from internet and activate it)

All these mods are very easy to install, i did all myself (except tyres).

Now i am waiting for a new front bumer with the M4 look (maybe prior design).

why not just go for the 335i instead of aftermarket power boosts?

Or the M3/4 since it seems he is more performance prone.

As you can see he's from europe so the step up to the 335i is almost 10k euro, I would say thats why. And performance wise, a 328i with the AC Schnitzer is a 335i killer that also has the edge on handling thanks to the small 4 in front. Although I wouldnt do it myself cause I don't believe in +50 hp from a chip-tune being healthy for this engine...

OP, still love ur mod-list so thumbs up

Watch out for your engine block. Getting close to number that can blow it.

I would like to know what your basis is?

OP, I like the vent gauge. Whats the cost? Here in the states there's a company called P3Cars that makes a similar product but I feel the cost is too much.

Also does this plug directly into the OBD port? If so it is pulling data from the DME which would give you stock readings for boost and maybe some other readings since the tune is a piggy-back.

You get a 2 year (extended to 3) warranty on this tune.
I'm considering doing it to mine as well.

OP, how come you didn't go for the ACS IC if you went with their tune?

Garage List
I think you mean M Performance exhaust.

Good call on the tyres, I run those on my car.

Sorry i mean M performance exhaust.

The ACS IC was not yet available when i installed the power upgrade. But i was surprised when i saw the ACS IC it is exactly the same as Wagner.

The awron data display is not plugged in the OBD, it is plugged in the front electronic module (your BMW dealer can do diagnostic without setting the gage in a special mode) . It costs 700 Euros.

Tyres are 245/40/18.

I see...can I ask you how much you paid for the tune and where did you go to do it?

In CH at least, the dealer they propose is as the opposite side of the country.
Granted, it's not a big country, but if I can find one nearer to Geneva (like say...Lyon) that would be awesome.

Thanks!

It seems to be less expensive than the other one, and it's only 12km father from Geneva...

Not so sure about the "335i killer". Don't forget, the same investment on a 335i (JB4) gets us 400hp. The price definitely makes sense though for euro.

Of course, but I meant a stock 335i ;-)
Yeah euro prices are not kidding around.
