Tires Question -- How much vertical height

How much vertical height (profile) would I gain by putting a 265 tire on a 9.5" wheel from a 255 tire on a 9.5" wheel. Is it enough to matter?

Why you ask? Well I do not plan to lower my 335 m-sport and want to fill up the wheel gap as much as I can.

I can't answer you're tire question but just wanted to throw out the m performance suspension will only drop the car 10mm more than your m sport or 3/4" over standard. I have it installed and absolutely love it. Might help you get the look you're after

Does it just come with Springs or Shocks and Struts? If the latter it's probably out of my budget.

almost nothing.
assuming you are running 19s with an aspect ratio of 35, 10mm wider will give you 3.5mm of more height.

if you really want to fill out the wheel well, go for a higher aspect ratio tire.
255/40/19 will give you another half inch of sidewall.

Thanks! This is exactly what I was hoping for.

Ordered factory spec'd tires and going to mount them on:

19X8.5 et32 Fronts - 225/40/19
19X9.5 et35 Rears - 255/35/19

@james: totally out of my budget. M-Sport package should have included those parts imo.

Keep in mind going with a taller tire will change the speedo accuracy not a lot from the size you plan to go with but it will alter it and mainly at higher speeds.

Since 255 is now going on a 9.5" wheel, the profile should probably go a tad lower than factory. Perhaps 265 on 9.5" would have kept me more near factory profile but almost splitting hairs at this point.

No worries. Maybe something to consider someday. Would have been really cool if it was standard. GL

profile wont change due to rim width. the diameter of the tire is fixed, you'll change how wide the contact patch is.
your overall diameter will be the same regardless of the rim width assuming the width and aspect ratio of the tire stays the same.
