Sorry buddy - the akra exhaust costs $3,150 plus installation. It is fantastic but out of your price range. So it is the MPE for you.

I have the M-Performance exhaust and I'm disappointed. I port installed so I have drove my 335 with the stock exhaust, but it's pretty quiet (or not loud). You get a burble if you on the power above 4k rpm on sport. Or if you're on my driving very slowly in M1 or M2 off the power.

But, I paid less than $1k, so can't really complain.

I'd get the Akra in a second if it was priced near the competition. But considering the MPE and the Borla are about 1/3 the price (and I can get 20% off the MPE if I buy within the next 6 months), seems like the MPE is a no-brainer for me. However, I've heard the MPE doesn't do much for performance OR sound, so I'm not sure it's worth even the little price.

Are there any MPE owners out there that are really happy with it?

very happy with mine...just in the break - in point now around 1,700 miles on my car...and it def gets slightly louder until it is broken in...it has a nice rumble when starting it up cold for about 15 seconds...then it gets quiet...then once the car is warmed up has a nice low rumble not to mention the gurgle sound when downshifting. If you are looking for everyone with in a 1 block radius to hear you coming them this is not the path but if you want a low rumble and enough to still catch the attention then its great IMO

I have some nice HD videos on my phone I been meaning to upload them to youtube, just never got around to it...PM me...I will upload them for you so you can see what I am talking about. I have 2 cold start videos(one close to the rear of the car the other about 5-6ft away)...and I have a warm reving video.
