Anyone do the M3 style front bumper conversion?

For those that have done this- when purchasing from Selma on ebay, is everything included or are there lots of other brackets and ducts that need to be purchased?

It has all the parts, but I'm not happy with the build quality. I caught it on one curbstop and both of the small grilles on the side just fell off with no way to reattach. The screw posts that hold in the foglight grilles break in a strong wind, leaving your foglights wobbling around. Also, since the proportions are different from the actual M3/M4 bumper, none of the accessories fit properly. Personally, I'm getting rid of the M3 style on and putting on an Msport. New bumper is already in the garage ready to go once the car is back from the shop.

Pics would be great, especially showing how the factory parts like the brake ducts align in the holes.

Thanks

Don't recall what the lip is.

It came as a kit with the bumper and grills.

I'm also thinking about a conversion some way down the line so photos would be much appreciated from anyone who has done it.

Bringing up an old thread as I am torn on the M sport or the M3. Can you list what was included as some of the ebay posts if not all only like a total of 4 or 5 things included. Does this bumper match up to all the existing ducts and under body paneling?

Did you use the spliters for the side skirts for a regular M3 without issues that are on Ebay? Or are those custom splitters?

Holy cow...with all the reflection at the back, at first I thought you threw on the M3 bumper onto an old Z4 Coupe!

I also got the m3 style front bumper, and I'm loving it! Got mine from modbargins at a great price.

Was curious if anyone knew where I could find any add-on lip splitter corners that fit the m3 style bumper? Online all I could find were for F80's and I wasn't sure if they would fit.

Looking for something like this:

They won't fit, nothing I ever found would. That's the reason I ditched that bumper and went to the M Sport. The bumper looks like the M, but it's scaled down to fit the proportions of the non-M, so nothing that is made for the actual M bumper will fit right. It's unlikely you'll find anyone making parts for this specific bumper as it's such a small market it's not worth it.

Thanks afranke!

I'm guessing if I want to stick with the bumper I got a couple of options, either to get it painted or vinyl wrap/plasti dip it.

Did mine back in December (adjusted the hood gap since then). Unfortunately, someone just recently hit the area where the headlight washers go -- they didnt damage the bumper but the paint has cracked and broken off. I'm taking it to my paint guy again tomorrow...
