Spoiler for red f32

Hoping to add a rear spoiler to my f32 but can't decide what to go for, especially against the red colour.
Wondering about matte or gloss black, or carbon fibre, or painted red.
Also thinking that m performance spoiler is too big, maybe something more subtle? What do you guys think. These were only photos I had of car.

I have the m performance diffuser in matte black so thinking what might suit

What about an M4 trunk spoiler. I'm thinking of going that route too.

I would go carbon fiber or red painted spoiler. They're the cleanest looking

I have exactly the same opinion! Really want to get a rear spoiler, but I think that M Performance one is too big and stands out too much. Have you considered getting one which is made for F30 3-series? It can also be any color or carbon fiber, and it looks smaller and more subtle than the M Performance one for F32.

If I thought it would fit ok I would consider it. Has anyone done this? I loved the m3 lip spoiler that so many of us put on our e92s. It was perfect

If you have the cash go with OEM CF spoiler or matt black to match your diffuser.

Exactly, I also had that little lip spoiler on my previous 335 e92.
Concerning the F30 one - I haven't seen any on F32, but I am almost sure that it will fit ok. Once I have time - I will visit the bmw dealership and ask if they have it in stock, so that I could try it before purchasing

In any case - it would be interesting to know which one you finally decide to go with!

+1 on the M3/M4 rep CF spoiler. Would look cool painted translucent candy...I have painted M4 OEM in my build thread below if you'd like an example.

Is that an oem sized trunk lip on your thread? I was just wondering if an M4 and F32 trunk are the same. Nice ride BTW!

Thank you! Yes, OEM M4 Trunk lid and OEM M4 CF Spoiler...fitment is 99% PnP

Good to know. I'm hesitating to pull the trigger on that coz I'm not sure if they are the same. Thanks for the info!

Wh000t?

Since when the shape of F82 and F32 trunk is the same? Thats not true, the M4 has a wider angle and therefore the OEM CF spoiler lid would not fit.
You need a 3rd party one and then it looks like this. Oh, and CF on red would look very fine

Putting a OEM F82 Trunk lid on a F32 IS 99% Direct Fitment PnP...I and plenty of others have it and have done it. I'm fairly certain you've seen my build thread and/or photos of my car...look again.

We are talking about replacing trunk lids, not just the spoiler...Yes, the F82 OEM Spoiler WILL NOT fit F32 Trunk lid

Ah, I see. In that case you're right. But after changing the trunk lid you could easily install the OEM M4 spoiler, if its worthy enough for you. I'd calculated a new lid plus painting work, etc. and the spoiler to just a 3rd party CF spoiler for the F32 and decided to save money for other things.

I'm not going down the route of fitting an m4 truck lid etc. So it might be back to the m perform cf spoiler. I was looking at more photos today. I think it depends on the angle you look at it from.
May be a silly question but for anybody that has the m perform spoiler can u see it in your rear view mirror? Lol

I have the m perf (replicabut 1:1 dimensionally,) spoiler and it's very low-key. So much so that I've actually already ordered an oem m4 trunk. I wouldn't have any concerns about the M perf being too extroverted. From some angles in pictures, it looks very noticeable, but irl, it's not in the slightest.

I'm confused, you guys are saying that we need to replace the trunk lid of F32 to F82 coz the lip wont fit being wider or just diff shape?

No, OEM F82 Spoiler WILL NOT fit F32 Trunk lid due to overall shape of lip.

OEM M4 Trunk lid has a more pronounced (higher) lip or "duck bill", matched with it's OEM Spoiler it's even more pronounced (see my Build Thread below for Photos).

There are M4 replica spoilers for F32 Trunk lid, just won't have the same overall "depth" or pronouncement...however, they still look good
