M Sport Kit Retrofit

Hi, I changed from sport line to the m-sport. I dropped my car off at the auto shop Friday morning and got it back today. I bought the replica kit on E-bay with PDC, lip from sedan_chan, and since the msport kit comes with 328i diffuser, I had to buy a 335i single outlet diffuser from ebay. I'd say the fitment is 99%.

Looks great. I'm guessing you're still rocking the sport-line steering wheel correct?

$795 for the whole kit? Good deal.

Did your diffuser fit properly? Mine was a tiny bit too small.

The gap between the hood and the bumper is a slightly off but you can't really tell.

You can adjust that part very easily. Just remove the rubber front trim and loosen the hex screws that hold the bumper in place and move it around until you are happy. The trick is to have them loose, but tight enough so you can close your hood and move the bumper around and stay where you move it too. Once you get it in the right place, open the bumper and tighten the screws.

My body shop did not do a great job on that part either. It was good but not as good as I wanted. I remember the screws being adjustable from replacing my grille.

Looks great. I was debating whether to paint my splitter gloss black too but with my lighter silver I don't think it would look good as yours does with the MG.

I think color matching and painting lower lip black would be nice. This guy did it.

Mine came color matched from the dealership. I like having the two tone and debating to paint just the lower lip portion black but keep the splitter part color matched.. Sorry for the crappy iphone pics, cars dirty too!

It looks good with splitter colored match, I was going to do that but my side mirrors are gloss black.

The reason why I left my splitter black was it gives the appearance of a bigger intake area from a distance. Also I imagine being that close to the ground, they will chip very easy from the sand and rocks from other cars being thrown back ...

Will do the same, for the same reasons.
Also, don't want to get crazy when I get into, or out of a steep parking.
