What really bug me is the blue accent on the console, giving off the ambience of car coveted by pre-pubescent kids, e.g. Mazda 3, Civic Si, Neon SRT 4. Maybe I should be shopping 5 series.. The luxury pack is more fitting for car of this price range.

Any word when pricing will be available? I emailed a friend who is a sales manager at a local BMW dealership but no word back from him yet. Interested to see which package all of the new equipment will be included in.

This looks like my next car (2015 model). I like the steering wheel, but I do not like how the controls are on it. My wife has a X3 and the controls are different from my 128. For instance, I can turn the volume up and set the cruise with my left hand and keep my right hand on the stick. I can't do that on the X3 because they moved the volume to the right side of the wheel and the cruise is set on the left side - I adjust the volume more than I use cruise. I guess this is one update that I don't like. It was bad enough that the cruise in the 128 doesn't go up in 5 mile increments with a harder push like my 335 did.
Back to the new 3-series. I have some of the same concerns with the front end, but I think the overall experience - the brand - is more acceptable to me than going to another car in this segment (another brand). |

I feel like the overall design is being marketed to the younger segment.
I'm 23 and have an '11 E92, and even I think the interior looks cheap and childish. I showed it to my father who is in the market for a 3 sedan and he was completely turned off. He said he will try and scoop up an E90 or a low-end 5 series. He said he didn't feel like it still looked as professional? |

My only thinking is BMW plans on marketing to a much younger audience. As I said the interior looks like a hot hatch.

Drop exhaust
Unbolt steering rack on passenger side and push forward Remove downpipes Remove passenger side engine mount (support engine first !!!) Disconnect oil and water lines from turbos and from the block (except leave the front oil return line connected to the block) Disconnect compressor side outlet pipe on both turbos Unbolt the rear turbo and drop down/out Unbolt front turbo and slide back then down/out Reverse process Not horrible. Took me about 15 hours the first time, solo, laying on the garage floor... Most of the time was spent getting up and back down for more tools... A second time would take me probably 12 hours... Maybe less |

don't know why people are saying interior's not as good as audi's
i've sat in many audis and i truly believe their interior is nothing to write home about. BMW stepped up their interior massively with the Fxx line up also love the steering wheel very unique in today's steering wheel designs |

I like this one it's a winner for me.
Exterior = winner Alcantara seats = really nice. Steering Wheel = kinda cool Stuff that need to grow on me: Honey comb part of upholstery Blue trim on dash 'sunken' BMW on hood Straight line across the hood (I doubt this one will ever grow on me) Also for being M-Sport it needs to be dropped another ½ inch ... Overall though, I think I'd get one of these babies net time around. Cheers |

The designers for the front of the new F30 have been dropped just like the Z4. It seems the car looks lower. The F30's really have that Z4ish look in them (sportline, modern line, luxury line, active3 hybrid).
I like the front on the Msport the most.

Don't like it at all.
Too much going on in the front, don't really like the gap by the grill looks unfinished, way too many unnecessary lines in the fenders and the side doors...I mean Come on BMW... could've done a way better job
Just look at the 7 or 6 best designs ever |
