Many thanks to 328AL for capturing this video on his computer and sharing it with me. There are perhaps a few frames missing in the middle but the webcam looked like stuck. All in all a wonderful sequence to see how the water is lowered in the locks and the ships cross.

I changed the 4 second video to 17 seconds by making it slow motion via Quicktime Pro.

Yes, that is Auriga Leader, the ship carrying our cars.. haha

My 911 carrera s is on that ship! Thanks for sharing all the wonderful pictures and videos! I almost cried when I saw Auriga leader pass through the locks. After all the shit, pain, and suffering you go through in life to finally see your dreams come true.

First world problems? Come on this is not life threatening or painful. We are just too sentimental with our cars, we should not be.

There are unfortunate ones in the world who go through the same (much worse) shit, pain and suffering in life to just be safe from not being bombed in some city, or stay away from a collapsing building, or just earn a living to get their next meal.

Thanks for posting this! Another 10-12 days I guess. My dealer is like the closest to Port Hueneme and I have no VPC installs. Hoping for some good news, a phone call next week from the CA.
