opinion GT vs wagon and residual and MF July 2015

Hey Guys,

I'm thinking of get the 328i GT. for 12k miles, i was told the MF is .00130 and the residual is 64%. Does anyone know if the numbers are different for the 335i?

Seems like a decent month as they have 1k in incentives, and another 1k for the USA drive event.

i was torn between getting a wagon and the GT. leaning more toward the GT, but now that the wagon has the LCI update, i'm confused if should go back to the wagon.

thanks in advance for your feedback.

I'd never buy a first generation vehicle, always give them at least a year to work the bugs out.

I know, I was referring to the LCI. Those who have to get the latest and greatest are setting themselves up as guinea pigs. I was interested in the GT from day one, waited a year to get a '15 instead of a '14.

I cross-shopped the two. The GT has a much more comfortable ride than the wagon on minimally rough roads.

It has a more comfortable ride than any other model lower than the 5 series. It gives up some handling precision to get that ride, although not a huge amount, as the 5 inch longer wheelbase is partially responsible, not just the suspension. For me it's just right.

i test drove both. I like the M sport wagon looks. Especially after the LCI. supposed to have better steering feel and suspension. But i'm 90% going GT. i currently have a 335 M sport 2013, and it'll feel like almost the same car if i got the wagon. I'm okay with giving up a little performance for the comfort. I rather have the 35 engine, but now that i have the little one, i don't push the cars like i used to.

I found out the residuals and money factors for the wagon and GT are the same. MF are .00130.
Residual for 15k is 62
12k is 64k
10k is 65

incentives are USA drive and 1000 in the car.

thanks for the help and feedback.

I have a 14 gt lease and have had no problems at all. I came from a 335 also. It just does not have the same feel as the 3 series but needed it for rear facing carseat room. This is my fourth bmw with a porsche mixed in between. When my lease is up I will be going to 4 series gran coupe or a panamera. Depends on how good of a deal I can get on four. Good luck whatever you choose! Glad my wife drives the Gt everyday cuz I couldnt do it.

that's almost the same situation as I'm in, also my 4th bimmer. I don't need the rear facing anymore. but i need a family car/house hauler. was thinking outback 3.6, pay it off, then pick up the m2 or cayman for the fun ride. but i'm thinking the GT is something in the middle.
