2015 BMW 435i Pricing Assistance (1st Car Purchase)

Hello BimmerPost!

I am in the process of purchasing my first vehicle on my own, and first BMW! I'm rather unfamiliar with the process and would sincerely appreciate the guidance and 2 cents from experienced and veterans across the board. Please take the time to read the following and advise:

2015 BMW 435i coupe
- alpine white
- coral red interior

- m sport package
- technology package
- lighting package
- premium package
- driver assistance package
- harmon kardon
- heated front seats
- usb + bluetooth
- black kidneys
- 19" 442 wheels

$61,145 MSRP
$56,200 offer provided (roughly 8% off msrp)

above price is not out the door
this is in California
i will be paying cash

What are your guys' thoughts?
How much lower do you think i can reasonably ask for?
Any additional thoughts worth sharing for my situation would be greatly appreciated. If there is any additional information for me to provide to better have you assess the situation for me I would be pleased to provide.

Thank you guys in advance.

I will, however it doesn't seem like they have the vehicle i'm looking for. I am very particular with what i want on this vehicle and i understand ordering it will provide me less room for negotiation on the price.

i wasn't able to pin point the exact invoice amount but it's in the neighborhood of $56,000 which makes me feel optimistic about the provided offer

Any additional opinions guys? going to discuss with the salesman in 8 hours

Invoice price is usually ~ 7% off MSRP. So, based on that, it would appear like this is a really good offer. Does it include incentives/rebates?

I have not been following pricing lately, so I'm not sure how much of a discount everyone is getting these days. But, if you can get ~ 7% off MSRP before any rebates/incentives, that's a good deal.

Good luck! It's a wonderful car.

I am no veteran and am shopping for a BMW in the Bay Area too, so am adding my $0.02. For a 2015 year model, the rule of thumb I am using is invoice price minus any incentives.

As per the Edmunds car research tool, the invoice price is ~$56,200 which is what your dealer is offering, so you probably have the negotiation room for about $750 which is September's incentive for the 435i!

Another small suggestion would be to look for a similarly specced 2014 model year car. From my experience, dealers are willing to go upto 2k below incentives to clear their inventories. BMW incentives for these cars are also higher! Hope that helps!

Get the LEDs.

Is the car on a dealers lot? If not, have you considered having a car built to your specs? Is Euro Delivery a possibility?

Thank you guys for your two cents!

The pricing above does not include any incentives and/or rebates and i'll certainly be inquiring about any that's applicable and available for my situation

i also figured this price to be a pretty good deal, but not quite a steal. i normally wouldn't mind a 2014 with savings of another 2-5% but i just can't find this combo anywhere and i'm in a very particular predicament which makes my wiggle room much smaller. this vehicle i found is currently available and matches my specs (i'm very picky might i add)

where can i find the manufacturer fees that're inevitably tagged on so i can weave through what i will inevitably pay while spotting what the dealership is trying to tax me for?

i wasn't planning on getting the LEDs but they're available on the car and i'm not against it if the deal is right.

the car is on the lot

i considered a car built to spec but i was getting terrible terrible offers. it seems that a car on the lot does present more discount. and euro delivery isn't going to happen due to the added expense and inability to travel cause of my work

ALSO, how does the innovation credit work? i see that it's $750 and applicable to retail purchases, but what're the restrictions like?

If you could provide pricing breakdown that would help out to see if the deal is good.

Here is my personal experience with the purchase of my 2014 435i. Since I will be paying $50+ on my car, I figure I get all the option I want. I got my car thru Steve Thomas BMW. I did ED and got the price at invoice (including $500 incentives from BMW at the time). The car was placed on 2/19 and ED on 5/2. Just shop around and see what the market price for your car. I would recommend getting the LED.

Not to sound rude at all (serious), but how does that help? Aren't the pricing for every option/package standard?

I'm very picky about the vehicle I'm trying to get and haven't been able to locate any other vehicle remotely close to my interests than this that's on the lot in all of California. I spoke to one dealer in the bay area about putting together an order and he said he was only able to provide me $700 off MSRP.. I've been meaning to get out but my work schedule makes it incredibly hard to spend any time at the dealerships (killing time with their BS)

Any others have a 4 series purchase experience worth sharing? Also, looking into finance and I got a cool 3.11% for 72 months. how does that sound?

On the face of it it looks like a fantastic deal. Close to invoice, plus tax and 300 dollar of less paperwork fee sounds great. 3.11 percent is also pretty good. I took 3.29 percent which gave me another 1,000 credit then paid off the car in a few months
