M Sport Plus Pack??

Hi guys,

Last month I picked up a 4 series with the supposed M Sport Plus pack which comprises of the rear sun protection glass, larger 19 inch alloys, HK sound and should be blue M brakes.

However, my car does NOT have the blue M brake calipers? Does anyone know why this is when I have everything else contained within the M Sport Plus pack fitted to my car bar the bar brakes?

Thanks in advance.

When you check your VIN does it show the option S2NHA? Which as far as I know is the blue brake option.

Ah thanks, I just de-coded by VIN and could not find that particular option. Strange, I just thought that with the M Sport Plus Pack you get privacy glass, HK audio and 19 inch wheels with blue brakes. I have all of that just not the blue calipers.

If this car was new, would be a no brainer from me. Unfortunately, this car is used. Owner added a lot of extra options but no folding mirrors and blue calipers by the looks of it!

the blue calipers are a part of the track handling package. although...i'm not sure if this was a new "package" on '18+ MY cars.

I don’t know about euro spec’d cars but my North American spec’d ‘16 340 has Msport brakes with blue calipers, the Mperformance brakes offered for my 340 can have red, yellow or orange calipers.

The car may have been ordered with MSport+ package but there was a period in 2015/16 (I think) where there was a blue Brembo brake shortage so there were some cars that were built with all the package except the brakes. The dealer may have looked at the original order and gone off that for the spec hence MSport+ but without blue brakes.

Not sure who makes them, but they might be brembo, brembo makes many OEM brakes. They make high performance brakes AND regular brakes.

I see in your profile you have a 430D and Im still new here so take it with a grain of salt, but I remember reading the diesel M-sport cars didn't come with the performance brakes like the gas models. Mine also has the M package but still has the basic brakes.

15 I'm looking at also didn't have blue calipers!

Good to know since it is a M performance pack.
