It's not like he's going from a M750i to a lowest trim Kia. 328i to a, say, Stinger GT2 is an upgrade in performance and possibly other ways.

The Kia stinger is 2 tons of sinewy Korean muscle. Drive the stinger around town and the men will want to be you, and the ladies....well, let's just say they might need a change of panties after you drive by..

Well it's more of a 5 series competitor... rather large car and weight to match... the Genesis G70 would be sportier... and even though same company as kia... little more prestige...

In all seriousness, I believe Kia intended for the stinger to compete most directly with the 4 series gc and audi sportback. It is a bit larger than those cars but smaller than the 5 series.

The other car that gets mentioned a lot in car guy circles, the Chevy ss, aka Holden Commodore, is more similar to a 5 series.

Dimensionaly it's exactly between a 5 and a 4 series... weight wise it's 4157 for all-wheel-drive ... which both the 4 and 5 series can weigh quickly checking the specs... I'd still go for the G70... smaller, lighter, nicer, etc... that will probably be my next choice if not happy with the new g20... we'll see..

and for you MT diehards... g70 has optional manual

I'm not a badge chaser, but I would never get a Stinger looking the way it currently does. It's ugly, plain and simple. Not quite Pontiac Aztek or Nissan Juke ugly, but most of the way there. Between the unattractive front end and the pinched looking back end, no thanks. I'm sure it drives well and it's good value for money, but if I was going to get a Korean car I'd rather get a G70 or G80 instead.

I haven't really looked into it, or driven one, but I was under the impression the G70 is a softer luxury car sort of ride. The way it's described, I imagined it would be softer than a base f30. I don't know though.

Check out Car&Driver... they did a preproduction drive... it has 5 suspension setting's... it's going to be geared toward sport.. probably depends on what model I'm sure... but definitely towards the sporty side from all the reading I did... We'll see..

This who is on the Hyundai's executive roster, including Fitzgerald, who previously served as the director of the Lamborghini brand; former Bentley and Lamborghini design chief Luc Donckerwolke; ex-GM and fifth-gen Chevrolet Camaro designer Sangyup Lee; and chassis guru and former BMW M head Albert Biermann.

There's a new G80 coming out that will have direct influence from these people... don't think Genisis brand should be taken lightly by other brands...

It's just great to be able to experience all these cars... when I grew up 1992 225Bhp Mustang Lx was considered fast that I had... best 1/4 mile time I could get out of it after doing all the tricks (lease car) on street tires was a flat 14.0... and believe me I tried and tried to break into the 13's... Lol...

Yeah in terms of bang for your buck Hyundai is really great. Just not sure about quality over a longer period, hard to tell. At least Hyundai makes some decent looking cars, particularly the Genesis line. I have yet to see a Kia that I like the look of. That grill is awful..

Compared to Toyota/Lexus... don't know... Toyota is tops in long term... compared to BMW... welllllll... my 335i is scheduled to get it's charge pipe replaced with a aftermarket-pipe.... Lol...

but the new supra has a bmw engine.... sooooo ... I just lease cars except for this one and when I bought this one I got the 4year extended warranty on it... so I have 4.5years left of warranty on it... so I'm not to worry...

For sure they're not going to beat Lexus. But your charge pipe is being changed because it broke down or because you want to?

Read toooo many times about these things just blowing up... so I'm doing it for as a preventive measure... car has 38,000miles on it... so better safe than sorry... new intercooler going on it as well....

But that's the only thing really.... car has a good reputation for 2014-2015 335i's as far as I'm concerned... Best sports sedan for the money in my opinion... after seeing that 11.94 1/4mile time posted on pump gas... and still have a baby seat in the back... and still take it to the track and beat the heck out of it on a competitive level... Heck I got the Mbrakes 370mm Discs! they are giant! .... Yea... BMW has my respect and I'm more than happy with it...

actually excited to see the next generation M3.... rumor has it, it will be available also in xdrive... 2wd was the main reason I didn't get it to begin with ... I wanted xdrive... you floor it ... it just goesssss...

I plan on having the 340i for a goood long time from now, ie, 8/9 years or so. I realise that's not long long time but i mean it's not changing soon

So lets say if i was looking for my next car in the current market, without kids etc that may happen by then, I'd be looking at an AMG GT or an F Type R

Just keep her in shape. Routine oil changes and all recommended servicing she should last a good while.

Rear seats in the 440 have been flopped down since I got the car. Based on actual usage experience something with 2 seats.
