SWS-8xi - Can it be installed on a 335i with WIFI (NOT HK)?
Hi all,
I saw few posts on the E90 forum with mixed opinions on Earthquake Sound SWS-8Xi 8-inch Shallow Woofer System Subwoofer I just bought BAVSOUND stage 1 upgrade, which should arrive next month, and since I will replacing all the speakers, why not the subs as well! So, I did some research and it narrow down to these Shallow Woofers which are priced just right $120 on amazon and ebay. My questions are: Do they need special mount? Should I buy the 2-ohm or the 4-ohm? Will I notice the difference since I will NOT be upgrading the original amplifier? Any input will be greatly appreciated. |

Your OEM amp will not move the SWS-8Xi like you expect. It just can't; you need to replace the OEM amp: http://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho....php?t=1070841
