What the heck are these triangles?
Forgive me for coming here before cracking open the owner's manual, but it's easier and typically more informative.
Anyway, what do the triangle/arrows represent on this one particular road?

Nice. I thought maybe it was like a video game and if I drove over them, I'd get instant boost.

These are definitely heavy traffic notifications.
The gray-map display shows traffic indicators better with yellow and red lines next to the road a la Google maps. I have button 7 programmed to switch between the normal map and the gray-map views. Also, using the route information list, it will show you traffic along your route, both as as list, and on the map. If you will be affected by traffic, there is also a red triangle on the left menu list and if you click it, it will give you traffic details and expected delay times. |
