4 series CF mirror caps fitment
Anyone have any aftermarket CF mirror caps?
Im not looking for the ones that stick over the oem caps. I saw these on eBay was curious if anyone has these. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Carbon-Fiber...dd55aa&vxp=mtr |

I think they are the same as the mirror caps in this discussion for the F30 328 etc.
http://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=810839 I got mine from RW Carbon in the US. They fit pretty well. I am happy with them on my car. There are number of people who have purchased them from eBay and other online retailers. |

Received the CF mirror replacements and installed them today. Fitment is good, but the margins around the CF pieces aren't exactly perfect as the OEM. It's very slight and you wouldn't notice it if you didn't know what to look for and weren't very carefully viewing them. The quality is great and they look as good as I'd want them to (CF quality, glossiness, etc)
Happy with them for only $135 shipped!

Although you can pry the stock cover off with enough pressure, it is probably safer to move the mirror until it is pointed up as far as possible then use the the wide plastic spatula style trim puller to just slip it up under the mirror and pop it off its housing. Then you have access to the clips that hold the cover on to the mirror assembly and can easily release them without damage. Also this provides a way of ensuring that you will not damage the CF Mirror cover when installing it. Good luck either way. |

They look great, really compliments the color of your car. I love my Melbourne Red, but if I could get a do over I would pick that blue color. It is just stunning.

Looks great!
These are coming today via UPS and I'll post some pics after installed. I think they'll compliment the mirrors nicely! http://www.bimmian.com/AutoCarbon-Ca...r-F80-3-Series

Mirror covers look great fscuderia23! That blue with the carbon fiber adds such a beautiful contrast.

Here's pics of the carbon fiber pillar trim (all 6 trim pieces included). They're high quality CF and very thin so you can't tell they are stick on. I'm loving the look with the mirrors, pillars, and shark fin all matching carbon fiber!
I've also got a pair of carbon fiber front splitters I'll be installing soon to add to the theme
