I guess I'm naive, I didn't expect that they would do this to the 4 series residuals before the cars even hit the showrooms. I figured that maybe a few months in, the residuals would begin to lag. However, with the demand that seems in the market place and the lack of supply, I figured that it would create some pent up demand that could lag out 2-3 years, thus, I figured that at they would be able to keep a higher RV on these vehicles.

Guess I assumed wrong and it's going to be costly...

Sheesh, the Lexus IS350 at 65% seems pretty attractive right now.

I just received couple of revised quotes and looks like 4 series RV are still the same. I guess they finally received their new program numbers.

Okay, so I am very confused about 4 series Sept rates. Are we saying there is an 8% difference between 428 and 435 rates? Seems to be conflicting reports about what the 435i rates are.

No, apparently, BMW revised the rates they originally sent out this morning. The original ones some folks received showed the 8% change. However, BMW revised them this afternoon. Now, according to what I've been told, the 428i and 435i are unchanged from August.

+1 David is the man.

I have got one car from him already for a family member. Mine is on order, just finished production. I can only speak good things about him and Steve Thomas BMW and about GOLFRR

Any revised rates for MY2014 F30? the drop seems too horrible to me, not BMW-like.

Thank you for the clarification. It seemed way too bizarre to be true.. glad to hear it's not. Mild heart attack since I may not get the car before my 90-day July lock.

Aside from the question of current money factor on the 4 series. Does anyone know how locking financing works for ED? Lets say I want to pick up in November. Can I lock in now? And then, if there are additional incentives or a better value in October or November, take advantage of that instead, prior to pick up?

Thanks in advance

You can do a 60 day lock, so as long as you signed (not your pick up date), 60 days from when you place your order you should be good to go.

So does that mean if I sign now and next month it's a much better deal, I can change to the better deal (as long as I haven't gone out to Germany to pick up yet?)
