USB iPod question

I have my older iPod nano 4 connected to the USB in the center console. It Was working just fine until a few days ago. I was able to scroll using the steering wheel control but now the only way to scroll through songs is by using the L < or R > arrow keys at the end of the function keys. Any ideas?

Might want to post up the resolution in case anyone else searches for the same issue and comes across this thread.

What was the fix, I use Bluetooth with my I touch can you scroll through the steering wheel? I have 335 2014

My problem was that I did not select a playlist. Once I selected a playlist everything was normal again.
